Our Story

Matthew Cassillo was a beloved brother, son, and friend. He brought joy to all who had the honor of knowing, loving, and being loved by him.

Matthew was first diagnosed with Severe Ulcerative Colitis as a teenager, and was later diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of colon cancer. He passed at age 28, in May 2018 - we all miss him immensely.

Matthew was an incredibly talented songwriter and musician, and his music was enjoyed by many. To his loved ones, he was just Matthew/Matt/Matty - the kindest, gentlest, funniest person we knew.

Matthew brought so much joy and happiness into our lives, that we want to honor his legacy by bringing a little light and joy to others facing a cancer diagnosis at a young age.
