Ways we Help

Holiday gift drive

benefits md anderson cancer center adolescent & young adult program

The holidays are a trying time for families already enduring physical, emotional, and financial stress of a cancer diagnosis. We want to help lighten to burden of the holidays for patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center AYA Program this winter. Some of these patients may be teens, college students, taking medical leave at work, or living paycheck to paycheck paying for childcare, transportation, mortgages, grocery bills, student loans etc. AND on top of all of that stress…. ongoing medical bills for cancer treatment.

We will be purchasing holiday gifts to donate to the AYA program, for patients age 15-39 (& their families) undergoing treatment or experiencing hospital admissions over the holidays. Many of the holiday gift donations made during this time of year are for children under the age of 12. We want to help fill this gap!

There are three ways you can help!

1. Click to view our Amazon Wish List, with items recommended by the wonderful folks at MD Anderson AYA program. All items purchased off of the wish list will be shipped directly to the AYA program for distribution.

2. Make a recurring or one-time donation on our website to the Matthew F. Cassillo Foundation so we can purchase items requested by the MD Anderson program team.

3.If you prefer to mail a check, contact us for mailing info).

Thank you in advance for your generosity! We wish you a happy and healthy holiday season!
